Our network includes more than 50 professional inspectors and QA/QC specialists across multiple disciplines. This gives Eurotest the flexibility to identify personnel according to the specific equipment, inspection scope, supplier location and project requirements rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Our available disciplines include electrical inspection, mechanical inspection, QA/QC, Factory Acceptance Testing, vendor surveillance, expediting, welding inspection, coating inspection and NDT-related support. Inspector nomination remains subject to the qualifications, certifications and experience requested by each client or project.

What we bring to your project

Our objective is not simply to attend an inspection. We aim to understand the approved scope, identify the applicable acceptance criteria and provide the client with evidence that supports a clear quality decision. Before attendance, the inspector can review relevant documentation such as the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Factory Acceptance Test procedure, drawings, datasheets, purchase order requirements and project specifications.

During inspection, activities may include visual and dimensional verification, material and document traceability, witnessing of electrical or mechanical tests, functional testing, review of calibration records, verification of certificates, monitoring of manufacturing activities and identification of non-conformities or punch-list items. The exact scope always follows the client's approved documentation and inspection notification.

Electrical inspection and FAT capability

Eurotest supports inspection of electrical equipment including MV/LV switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, generators and alternators, electric motors, UPS and battery systems, VFD packages, control panels, protection systems and power cables. Typical FAT activities can include insulation resistance, dielectric withstand, continuity, contact or main-circuit resistance, functional and protection checks, alarms and indications, interlocks, control logic, performance testing and documentation review where applicable to the equipment and approved procedure.

Mechanical and industrial inspection capability

For mechanical and packaged equipment, our network can support visual and dimensional inspection, material traceability, pressure and leakage test witnessing, rotating-equipment checks, valve inspection, coating and welding-related surveillance, documentation review and final release activities according to project requirements and inspector competency.

Independent, traceable and client-focused

Independence and clarity are central to our approach. Inspection findings should be factual, traceable and linked to the applicable requirement. Where an item does not meet the approved acceptance criteria, it should be recorded clearly so the responsible parties can evaluate, correct and close the issue.

Our reporting approach is designed to give clients useful evidence: inspection status, activities witnessed, test results reviewed, observations, punch items, supporting photographs where permitted and references to the relevant project documents.

Eurotest is positioned to support inspections across France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and other European locations through our professional network. This regional approach can reduce unnecessary mobilisation and makes it easier to respond to supplier inspections across multiple countries within the same project supply chain.
